Kristin Fisher joined CNN on July 20, 2021, as Space and Defense Correspondent. As the Space and Defence Correspondent for CNN, she is responsible covering everything from NASA and the newly formed Space Force up until commercial space-related companies and the growth and advent of space tourism. Kristin was born into the field of space as the daughter and granddaughter of NASA astronauts. For the last five years, she has reported on space policy during the Trump and Biden Administrations for FOX News. While there, she also covered two impeachment trials for the president and the presdiential 2020 campaign, as well as two administration's attempts to control the coronavirus pandemic. She also was a frequent traveler with President Trump as well as the Vice President often. The trip included a shady visit to Afghanistan. Kristin has worked in the newsrooms of local markets like Grand Junction, Colorado, Little Rock, Arkansas, as well as Washington, D.C. for over a decade before joining the network. Kristin was the recipient of an Emmy Award in Washington, D.C. as an CBS affiliate's single-man reporter. Utilizing her expertise in front of the camera Kristin created Field Mouse Films in 2014.
